Who We Are

We are a small agency of professional editors with training and experience working with authors in the humanities and social sciences. Our editors also have experience editing trade nonfiction, fiction, and memoir.

We provide developmental, line, and copy editing services, and often work with authors from the proposal stage through to final copy edits. Our agency structure allows us to match authors with editors who have relevant experience in their discipline(s) and genre(s), and to efficiently turn around manuscripts.

Our editors have extensive experience editing books and journal articles in American studies, animal studies, anthropology, architecture, art history, Black studies, data studies, Caribbean studies, cultural studies, disability studies, East Asian studies, film and media studies, environmental studies, gender and sexuality, geography, history, Indigenous studies, information studies, Latin American studies, Latinx studies, management and organization, Middle Eastern studies, musicology, political science, queer studies, sociology, Southern studies, STS, and urban design.

We frequently help authors revise interdisciplinary projects with an eye to making them speak to multiple audiences.
